Apple Watch basics with VoiceOver
Change the watch face. While viewing the current watch face, firmly press the display, then swipe left or right with two fingers to browse available faces. When you find one you like, double-tap to select it.
Customize a watch face. While viewing the watch face, firmly press the display, swipe down to choose Customize, then double-tap. Swipe left or right to browse the customizable features. Turn the Digital Crown to customize the selected feature. When you finish, press the Digital Crown, then double-tap the face to save your changes.
Check notifications. While viewing the watch face, swipe down with two fingers.
Check glances. While viewing the watch face, swipe up with two fingers.
Hear the time when you raise your wrist. Open the Apple Watch app on iPhone, tap My Watch, go to General > Accessibility > VoiceOver, then turn on Speak on Wrist Raise.
Open an app. With the watch face showing, press the Digital Crown once to go to the Home screen. Swipe left or right, tap, or drag your finger to highlight an app, then double-tap to open it. Or have Siri open it for you: hold down the Digital Crown until you feel the double tap, then say “launch” followed by the app name (for example, “launch Mail”).
Read mail. With the watch face showing, press the Digital Crown once to go to the Home screen. Swipe to highlight the Mail app, then double-tap (or hold down the Digital Crown, then ask Siri to “launch Mail”). When the Mail app opens, swipe left or right to read messages.
